February 8, 2016 5:01 pm

Telecom Fijiana rep, Rusila Naqasau believes the team can shock the world of women’s rugby in the future.

The utility player says the team is on the right track to conquering bigger teams like Australia and New Zealand.

The 28 year old has become one of the key players in the team alongside skipper and cousin, Ana Maria Roqica, Rebecca Tavo and Lavenia Tinai and can easily slot into the forward and back positions with her sheer pace and power.

Naqasau is a former national football rep but opted for the oval ball in 2006 and has not regretted the decision since then.

Naqasau will be part of the Telecom Fijiana side that will compete in the Sau Paulo 7s in Brazil on the 21st and 22nd of February.

Fiji is currently ranked 7th on the Women’s World Sevens Series standings with three tournaments remaining.
