The arrest of a robbery suspect over the weekend has enabled police investigators to establish the involvement of other suspects in other robberies in the Central Division and parts of the Western Division.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigation, ACP Henry Brown says they are also trying to establish whether there is a link between the suspect and four men who robbed the ANZ Bank branch at Nausori Airport on Monday night.
About $54,000 in foreign currency was stolen in the heist at Nausori Airport.
FBC News has received reports of other robberies in homes in the greater Suva area in the past few months and has been awaiting confirmation from police.
Meanwhile Brown has assured the public that a number of dedicated task teams are working around the clock to bring the perpetrators to justice.
