Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has urged community leaders, government ministers, parents and village heads to talk to people about curbing rape.
Bainimarama added that if we want to move towards a modern state then we should move away from such practices.
“As a parent and grandparent I feel for this little girl and we must do something about this. Let’s continue to talk about getting rid of these cases altogether.”
