Fiji Airways flights to normalize today

More disruptions to Fiji Airways flight schedules were faced over the weekend.

In a statement released this morning, Fiji Airways says flight FJ430, on Sunday; which was bound for Suva from Auckland had to divert to Nadi due to mechanical reasons.

As a result, flights over the weekend to Honiara, Auckland and Sydney were affected.

Fiji Airways engineers are working to get the aircraft fixed and back into service by this afternoon.

The national carrier says they are managing the situation – taking care of all affected passengers and trying to get them to their destinations as soon as possible.

It’s apologizing to all affected passengers for the inconvenience caused.
