The Wellington rugby side is back on track after securing a win over Southland 40-0 in the Mitre 10 Cup AT Westpac Stadium last night.

Wellington came out firing scoring all its six tries in the first half.

It was Southland’s defense and handling errors that cost the game.

In today’s matches, Bay of Plenty takes on Canterbury (DH) at 2.35pm, Manawatu meets Otago at 5.05pm while North Harbour battles Tasman at 7.35pm.
