The Fiji 7s team defeated Samoa 26-17 to top its pool and qualify for the London 7s Cup quarterfinals.
Fiji will meet Ireland in the Cup quarterfinal at 11:04 tonight.

Samoa scored just on the stroke of half time to take the lead 12-7 at the breather with Jerry Tuwai being shown a yellow card for a high tackle.

Fiji came back strongly after the breather and Sevuloni Mocenacagi scored after an individual brilliance from Aminiasi Tuimaba to take the lead 14-12.

Samoa scored back to take the lead 17-14 but Fiji got their acts together to score two quick tries to Asaeli Tuivuaka and Waisea Nacuqu.
