Bill Nicholls is the only outside player in New Caledonia club AS Magenta’s squad for the OFC Champions League football competition to be played in Fiji next month.

The Vanuatu international will be expected to play a key role for the side, which is pooled with Vodafone Ba, Hekari United from Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu’s Tafea FC.

Other notable names in the squad include New Caledonia international Bertrand Kai, Jean Brice Wadriako and Piere Wajoka.

The side takes on hosts Ba in its first match at 4pm on April 7 at Govind Park.
