Cavubati banned for nine weeks

Flying Fijians lock forward Tevita Cavubati has been banned for nine weeks after being found guilty of a biting offence while playing for Worcester Warriors in the English Aviva Premiership.

The Warriors were taking on London Irish when the incident happened.

Cavubati appeared at a disciplinary hearing in Ireland yesterday where he received the ban which he will serve from now until April 12th as well as a fine of $1557.00

Cavubati has played 12 Tests with the Flying Fijians with his last international outing during the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.
