The Health Ministry says they still have vaccinations available for those who are yet to be vaccinated for meningococcal disease.

Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete had earlier confirmed that twenty-eight -thousand one hundred and one children remain to be vaccinated out of their targeted population.

Dr Waqainabete says the vaccinations are still available at their over two hundred medical facilities.

“We have asked our staff to keep on asking the community who hasn’t been vaccinated and we have vaccines available for those who hasnt been vaccinated.”

Dr Waqainabete says their target population was 309,145 children below the age of nineteen years.
