The Fiji National University Council has brought to an end the employment contract for the University’s Vice Chancellor Dr Ganesh Chand.

This was confirmed by the Education Minister and FNU Chairman Dr Mahendra Reddy.

Subsequently, Professor Ian Rouse has been appointed the Acting Vice Chancellor.

Reddy says Professor Rouse brings with him vast international experience and has to date provided excellent leadership of FNU’s College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
