Six Chinese nationals appeared at the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with an alleged ATM scam in Lautoka.

Sanlin Xie, Changbao Xie, Liu Jinling, Zhong Chenhua, Weiqiang Liu and Yanyan Yang appeared before Magistrate Raramasi Salakubou.

Police prosecutor ASP Anil Prasad told the court, 384 ATM cards were recovered from the men when they were arrested.

He says Police also received $22, 807 from the six accused.

The men have been remanded until December 24th when the case will be called again.

They have been ordered to surrender their passports to court.

The Court is also arranging for an interpreter to be available during the next court date.
