Sports Minister Parveen Bala today congratulated Jerry Tuwai for receiving the World Rugby Men’s Sevens Player of the Year award in Tokyo last night.
Bala says Tuwai is an inspiration for young athletes and a role model to children who are aspiring to be great rugby players.
He adds that Tuwai has brought fame and glory to the nation.
“Well that was a big announcement and for Fiji, in fact, he has brought name and fame for our country and his contribution to rugby will go down in the history books and I’m very happy that he has being awarded”.
