Nawai ready for O'Brien

Undefeated middleweight boxer Siliveni Nawai hasn’t made a prediction, but he’s indicated that he’s ready for a titanic battle against New Zealander Beau O’Brien this weekend.

Nawai says he hopes to bring back what Fiji Boxing used to be renowned for.

“I want to bring back the glory days of Fiji Boxing. I’m really looking forward to this fight and to my loyal fans Siliveni Nawai is ready.”

Nawai holds a record of 11 unbeaten fights while Beau O’Brien has five wins and 1 loss and a draw.

The winner of this fight will determine the new champion of the vacant World Boxing Foundation Australasian middleweight title.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated fight is set for Saturday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
