Twenty schools have signed up for the inaugural secondary schools 7s rugby competition for girls this week.

Fiji Rugby Union CEO, Radrodro Tabualevu say the initiative is part of the Legacy Program for each country to promote the sport around the globe as a build-up to the World Cup next month.

“It is going to replicate what will be happening in the World Cup. We have girls from around Fiji representing different countries in four pools.”
