“The rights of women, the rights of children that is very important to me especially now when we don’t have enough women in politics or who are standing because of the equality that was in our constitution. I had at first did not agree to having others called Fijians while we were called I-taukei but then upon reading the Constitution i got the idea or i understood what it’s all about. It’s about equality. We may be different in appearance on the outside but under our skin we are all the same.”

The two women say they are willing to offer their services to the FijiFirst Party should the party need them.
