Education Minister Aseri Radrodro is urging parents and guardians to make children’s safety a priority during the two-week school break.
Radrodro says while various activities are being held around the country, parents must ensure the wellbeing and safety of children are not overlooked.
He is also encouraging students to use the break wisely by setting aside time to revise their schoolwork ahead of the final term.
The Minister is encouraging students to make use of public libraries in their municipalities to support their learning.

Radrodro has also extended his best wishes to students and schools taking part in sporting competitions today.
The two-week school holiday is now underway.
