The Nadi Magistrate Court has issued a Domestic Violence Restraining Order on a 37-year-old man who is seen assaulting his child in a video that is circulating on social media.
Police say the alleged incident took place in Wailoaloa last week and that the father has been charged and produced in court.
The accused is charged with one count of common assault.

He was bailed, and a Domestic Violence Restraining Order was also issued.
The case was adjourned to July 28th.
