Boxing fans have plenty to look forward to next month after the Fijian Broadcasting Corporation signed a partnership agreement with Kings Boxing Promotions for a major fight event in Suva.
Under the agreement, FBC will stream the event live on its streaming platform, Viti Plus, allowing boxing fans in Fiji and abroad to follow all the action.
Event promoter Naroon Buksh thanked FBC for its support, saying the partnership will help raise the profile of the sport.
A total of 12 professional bouts are scheduled, with the main event featuring Mikaele Ravalaca defending his World Boxing Association Oceania Lightweight title against India’s Rohit Chauhan.
FBC Television General Manager Sitiveni Halofaki said the event will be broadcast worldwide, giving local fighters valuable international exposure.
The event, titled “Bad Blood”, will be held at Vodafone Arena in Suva on July 25.
