Flying Fijians coach John McKee is just keeping it real ahead of their Rugby World Cup opener against the Wallabies on Saturday.

McKee says they are really looking forward to the first match and they have high ambitions in this World Cup.

He adds they know they have big challenges with big teams in their pool but it’s a great first match for them.

The national coach says a lot of Test match rugby is run in the close quarters and it’s going to be a big game for both teams at the gain line and in both attack and defense.

McKee says for the Flying Fijians it’ll be a game of limited opportunities and they have to make sure they nail opportunities and turn them into points.

The Flying Fijians will take on Australia at 4:45pm on Saturday.

Other games on Saturday will see France taking on Argentina at 7:15pm followed by New Zealand and South Africa at 9:45pm.

The Rugby World Cup kicks off on Friday with host Japan playing Russia at 10:45pm.
