Health Masters Private Limited owner, Ahmed Shakeel Shariff says operating a business like his has not been easy, but he is glad of the recognition it is receiving.
Sharff’s Health Masters Private Limited scoops top awards at the Fiji Development Awards Night in Suva, including the 2022 FDB’s National Small and Medium Enterprise top award and the 2022 Youth Entrepreneur of the Year.
Shariff says setting up during the pandemic was challenging but has now finally paid off.
“Today I stand to encourage all those who have a dream to continue to dream, and when you wake up in the morning, you run towards it, you work hard towards it, and not today, maybe not tomorrow, but the day after, you will be able to strike open that door because if that door does not open for you easily, you keep going at it.”
Acting President and Chief Justice Salesi Temo, speaking at the event, acknowledged all SME’s in the country for their resilience and contribution to the country, especially during and post-pandemic.
“To the SME’s operator’s congratulations for continuing to create the opportunities, it was pleasing to witness how you adapted to the constantly changing global trends by providing flexible work arrangements to meet both the needs of the customers as well as those of your employees.”
