A six-year-old boy has died following an unfortunate accident at a timber yard in Vatuwaqa, Suva yesterday afternoon.
Police say the child’s father who works as a supervisor at the timber yard, was reversing a forklift when it allegedly hit his son.
As a result the boy sustained serious injuries.
He was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he passed away later.
