Body of missing man recovered from Ba river

The body of the man who went missing while diving for freshwater mussels in the Ba River on March 4, 2026, has been recovered.

A joint search operation involving the Police and members of the public led to the discovery of the victim’s body near Wavuwavu yesterday.

The body has been taken to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital mortuary, where it will undergo a postmortem examination.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
