The Digicel Junior Bula Boys ended the Australian tour with a win.
Our Fiji under-20 side defeated Brisbane Strikers U-23, 2-1 as they wrapped up a successful Gold Coast tour.
The team played a few games in Australia as a build-up to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina which starts on the 20th of this month.
The team is now back in the country and team manager Kartik Reddy says they’ll continue its World Cup preparations at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba.
Reddy also acknowledged the support of the Fijian community in Brisbane.
The Junior Bula Boys will take on Slovakia on Sunday May 21st at 9am.
They’ll play USA at 6am three days later before taking on Ecuador on the 27th also at 6am.
Meanwhile, there’ll be three Digicel Fiji Premier League games on Sunday which includes Rewa and Tavua, Navua battling Lautoka at 3pm at the Uprising Sports Centre and at Prince Charles Park, Nadi faces Tailevu Naitasiri at 3pm.

The lone game on Saturday kicks off at 1:30pm between Labasa and Nadroga at Subrail Park.
