Pooja Priyanka has won the Miss World Fiji crown.
She will now go on to represent Fiji at the 66th Miss World International Pageant to be held in December.
The 24-year-old scooped majority of the awards that were up for grabs last night including the Multimedia award, Best Talent, Top Model and the Best Evening Gown.
Following the crowning ceremony, at the Grand Pacific Hotel, an excited Priyanka told FBC News she was blessed to have been a part of this journey and could not have done it without the support of her family and friends.
“I’ve learned so much, not just about myself but the world around me and how to help people. I have met so many beautiful people that have helped me along the way. It’s been such a magical experience and if anyone is thinking of entering this pageant in the future I would say just do it because it is a magical experience.”
Priyanka was one of 10 beautiful women vying for the title of Miss World Fiji 2016.
Coming in at second place was Nanise Raboiliku and in third place was Vika Fifita.
The Miss Photogenic award went to Heather Marama.
