Excavator falls in Navua River with operator trapped inside

Navua Police are at the scene of an accident where an excavator fell into the Navua River.

According to Police, the operator was unfortunately trapped inside and attempts are being made to retrieve his body.

The incident occurred at a gravel extraction site in Waiyanitu.
