at 3:30pm on Thursday the 25th of December 2025

Situation: A weak trough of low pressure with associated cloud and
showers lies slow moving just to the north of the group and is
expected to affect the Northern Division for next few days.
Meanwhile, a southeasterly wind flow prevails over country.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Cloudy periods with some showers over Serua-Namosi,
Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Eastern Macuata, Southern
Bua, Cakaudrove, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and
Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands.
Isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms possible especially over
northern Division.
Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers.
Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds, gusty in areas of heavy falls
and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Outlook for Saturday : Cloudy periods with some showers over
