Immigration implements cashless transactions

The Immigration Department will not be accepting cash or cheque for payment starting this week.

EFTPOS and M-PAISA are the only acceptable methods of payment for all transactions for those accessing immigration services as of Tuesday, August 1st.

This is in line with the Department’s initiatives to put in place a cashless system to ensure the effective and efficient management of public funds as well as promote transparency and accountability.
