It is a good chance for girls and women to impress selectors at this week’s Fiji FA Women’s Inter District Championships.

Fiji Women’s Football Director Susan Wise says the players can still make it to the training squads for the Pacific Games and the Oceania Under 17 playoffs.

Wise says although the training teams have been named they will be looking at other potential players who can join the side.

Meanwhile, entries to the Women’s IDC will be free of charge as Fiji FA CEO Bob Kumar says they want to promote the sport within females.

The three day tournament starting this Friday will be held at Govind Park in Ba.
