Flights suspended, roads closed after bomb threat at Auckland Airport

Police and specialist groups this morning are responding to reports of a bomb threat at a facility near Auckland Airport.

The incident has caused all flights to be suspended until 9.15am.

Police have been onsite at Geoffrey Roberts Rd since about 8am.

They said enquiries were ongoing and a section of Laurence Stevens Dr and Geoffrey Roberts Rd was currently closed.

Significant delays are expected and those heading to the domestic terminal are advised to use Tom Pearce Dr.
