Al-Noor mosque reopen for prayers

The Al-Noor mosque in Christchurch has been re-opened after last week’s mass shooting.

The shooting resulted in the death of 50 people on March 15th.

The building was closed for police investigation however, it’s been reopened allowing only small groups to enter the mosque today.

Meanwhile, more than 3000 people walked through Christchurch for a ‘march for love’ this morning intended to honor the victims.

BBC News reports many walked in silence and some carried placards calling for peace and opposing racism.

The Australian terrorist has been charged with one murder in connection with the attacks and is expected to face further charges.
