The Fiji Billiards and Snooker Association are glad to see young players beginning to make a mark in the national ranking tournaments this year.
This comes following the Fiji International Open tournament, which ended yesterday.
Association Vice-President, Ravi Narayan says the performance of young players such as the Prasad brother, Rahil and Sahil has been impressive this year.
“The development that Fiji Billiards and Snooker has undertaken is now starting to show results. The young players like Rahil and Sahil (Prasad) are playing against each other in the semi-final and our third national ranking tournament winner, Khatri has been in impressive form.”
The fourth and final ranking tournament in the local snooker calendar will be held in Lautoka on September 19th-20th.
