The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will depart tomorrow for the Oktoberfest 7s that will be held in Germany.

Coach Gareth Baber says this is an important tournament for them as they will be testing their combinations.

Baber adds the young players in the side have shown great work ethic.

“We’ve always felt there’s been progression to create depth in the squad and keep consistency on what we can put on the field when it really matters for us. There’s some players who have been developing and show potential of playing at that level and some who have been with us and some brand new as well. We’ll go into Germany with a view that they claim their spot in the squad.”

Fiji is in group B with Germany, France and USA.

The Oktoberfest 7s will begin from the 22nd of next month in Munich.
