Fiji Netball coach Vicky Wilson has been impressed with the with the performance of the former Fiji Under-21 players, who are part of the Pearls team preparing for the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.

Wilson says she is keeping a close watch on the young players, who have equal chances of making it into the national team for the games.

“We are very lucky that we have a number of talented youngsters, particularly after the performance of the Fiji Under-21 team in Botswana last year. We came forth into the world with a lot of those youngsters who have put their hands up.”

Wilson is expected to name the final 12 member squad in two weeks’ time.
