Team Fiji Athlete Braelyn Yee is ready to pride for Fiji in her Pacific Games debut in Samoa next month.

Yee was on the standby list for Athletics and has been called to join the team as a replacement for Sisilia Seavula who has departed from the team on personal ground.

The former St Joseph Secondary School sprinter told FBC Sports that now it is about completing the task at hand as she also encourages young athletes to continue to pursue their love for the sports.

“Be persistent and never give up and keep fighting for your dreams, just keep fighting, until you get there and when you’re finally there you can say I did it, I’m here.”

Yee will be participating for Team Fiji in the 4×100 meters track event and also compete in the 100 meters.

The Pacific Games will be played from the 7^th to the 20^th of next month.
