World Cup hype to inspire Nadroga

September 17, 2015 5:01 am

The hype surrounding the World Cup will be a source of inspiration for the Nadroga Rugby Union in defending the HFC Farebrother Trophy against Suva, this weekend.

President, Tiko Matawalu says with the achievement of former Nadroga rep, Peceli Yato, who is a member of the Flying Fijians World Cup squad, they are confident of producing more players for national duties.

“There are so many talents out there. Yato is just an ordinary village boy and now he is making a name for himself and now he is in Ben Ryan’s list for Rio. There are so many out there untapped. It’s just a matter of those who are in authority and those who are supposed to go out there to identify these talents.”
