Win for fans: Seruvakula

The Vatukoula rugby team will be going all out to win their encounter with Rewa when they run out onto Theodore Park this afternoon.

After their defeat to Northland in the first round of the Digicel Cup, coach Senirusi Seruvakula says that the team wants their first home appearance to be a good one in front of their fans.

“It’s a very important game for us. It’s going to be our first home game. The families, fans and the management of the company, Fiji Gold Mine Limited will be there and they’ll want to witness how we play going to play our second game and it’s the first being played in Vatukoula. And also we need to have a win.”

The match kicks off at 3pm this afternoon. Meanwhile, a live commentary of the Suva-Tailevu match will air on our sister station, Bula FM with the voice of rugby, Graham Eden.

The delayed television coverage will air on FBC TV at 10.30pm today.
