Wilder delivers 7th round KO against Ortiz

The ‘Bronze Bomber’ Deontay Wilder has knocked out Luis Ortiz in the seventh round to remain undefeated and retain his WBC Heavyweight title.

Though Luis Ortiz was dictating the action as the aggressor, Deontay Wilder caught him with a pulverizing right hand to score the knockout.

Although Wilder delivered yet another thrilling KO, it didn’t come easy, as Ortiz was winning the fight up until that point.

Wilder says Ortiz had him in close encounter with brutal punches but he rose to the challenge.

Following his thrilling victory, Wilder affirmed that a February rematch against Tyson Fury will indeed be next on the docket for him.

He also reinforced his desire to become the undisputed champion.

This is Wilder’s 10th consecutive defence of the WBC title.

“The Bronze Bomber” now makes it 2-0 against “King Kong” with another spectacular knockout.
