Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute has retained the Colin Love Trophy after defeating Nasinu Secondary School 19-8 in the Fiji Secondary School Rugby League Vodafone Trophy this afternoon.

More than 6000 fans turned up at Garvey Park in Tavua to witness the two giant’s battle it out.

The defending champions displayed good team work to outmatch the Nasinu Secondary School side, who were guilty of individual play.

Ba Provincial received $2000 prize money while Nasinu Secondary School collected $1000 for finishing as runners up.

In other results, Natabua High School thumped Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute 26-6 in the Under 17 grade final while Ratu Navula College beat Natabua High School 10-4 in the under 15 grade final.
