Western giants battle Tui Vuda trophy

September 14, 2012 12:38 am

The Jetsetters from Nadi and the Maroons will go head on this afternoon as they will battle for the Tui Vuda challenge.

Defending champs Nadi will be a strong force to beat as they will look to take this year’s title again but Lautoka Rugby secretary Salesi Vulakoro says otherwise.

“Nadi will be fielding some strong players and they’re most likely to run some overseas players but Lautoka will come in strong with the likes of national players like Watisoni Votu, Taniela Rawaqa, Ifereimi Rawaqa and Setareki Koroilagilagi and Im sure the game will be really strong”

He adds this will also be a good build up to the Fare brother Challenge as Nadi is the next defender.

The game kicks off at 4pm at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
