West looks to host biggest sporting event

The Western primary schools athletics will host one of the biggest school sporting events in history.

The FMF Chow Games Divisional championship-West.

West meet manager Andrew Pillay says this is a prestige championship as it will encourage and allow for more participation.

”We’re looking to get the forgotten athletes of the West and we’re also trying to get the Senior citizens involved in this two day event so we’re looking to invite them and have them be part of the kids event”

The opening will be preceded by a march through Lautoka City before they host the Sigatoka to Rakiraki districts on the 16th and 17th of November while Subrail Park host North division and SGS grounds host central on the 16th.
