The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team is anticipating a tough match against Canada in its opening match of the 2018/19 Women’s 7s series in Glendale.

Interim Coach Alifereti Doviverata says the players have adapted well in the States and they have been working on getting their basics right before game day.

“Our pool matches will not be an easy one as most of the girls are from the fifteens team and to be ex¬posed to the sevens game will not be easy. We are training for that and I believe that we will be able to deliver during game day.”

Fiji plays Canada in its first pool match at 10.30am tomorrow and will then take on France at 1.36pm before meeting Ireland at 3.58pm.
