The Weightlifting Fiji has received a major boost after FMF Foods Limited has come on board to be the official sponsor for the World Junior Weightlifting Championship next month.

FMF General Manager marketing Amrita Priyadarshani says their involvement with Weightlifting is to help promote healthy living and active sports participation.

Priyadarshani says they hope their participation in this event will be in line with their Wellness Program initiative.

Meanwhile, Fiji will be represented by eight lifters in this year’s Junior Weightlifting Championship that will be held from the 1st to the 8th of next month.
