With a few hours left for the Rugby World Cup semifinal, Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team hopes to throw in everything against New Zealand in the semifinal at the World Cup in the USA.

Fiji 7s lanky forward Leone Nakarawa says they will not underestimate any team.

Nakarawa says that they did a good job in the quarterfinals but will need to be mindful of the opposition team.

“That game is done now, I think the boys did really well in our defence and our attack, but we are not underestimating any team right now. We are just doing what we have been told by the coach and working on our basic skills.”

Nakarawa says they need to be focused when taking on New Zealand as it won’t be easy.

Meanwhile New Zealand’s Kurt Baker says playing Fiji in the semifinal is a battle they have been waiting for and are eager for it.

Fiji plays New Zealand in the second semifinal at 8.04am today while South Africa will take on England in the first semifinal at 7.40am.

Fiji last won the Melrose Cup in 1997 and 2005 with the leadership of legend Waisale Serevi.
