The Baby Flying Fijians will be relying on pace when they encounter Wales in their first match at the under-20 Rugby World Cup.

Captain Lea Matayavusa says the team has speed and they will rely on that as their X factor.

He said the quickness of the forwards will be a surprise to some teams.

“Most of the boys have pace. Even the forwards are fast. Some of the forwards are running with the same speed as the guys in the backline.”

The team knows that the first game against Wales will tell how the tide turns in the tough pool.

Fiji also faces New Zealand and Samoa and you can watch the games live on FBC TV.
