Basketball Fiji is will be working on their core drills to be at their best form come the Pacific Games.

The national extended team competed at the Fiji Games in the Easter Weekend as part of their buildup to the Games.

Team Manager, Ben Sikuri says they are trying to get the extended squad to understand and adapt to their style of game before July.

“I think we have achieved our goals as we set them up for the last three months and we can wee the fruition on the results of games we have played so far and we tried to target the fitness.”

Fiji last won gold in the 2007 Pacific Games in Samoa.

The Pacific Games will run through the 7^th to the 20^th of July in Apia, Samoa.
