The Nadroga rugby side is already in festive mood after winning the Skipper Cup competition final against Namosi yesterday.

The Stallions thrashed Namosi 56-24 in an epic encounter that Nadroga dominated.

Team Captain Nemani Nagusa says the team had to be at their best to win and that’s what they did.

“Coming into the final, we knew Namosi was going to be a good team, they deserved to be in the final and we knew that if we were to win today we had to put in our 100 percent effort and that’s what we did. We just did the hard yards and let the results do its work.”

Nadroga received $30,000 for the win while Namosi walked away with $15,000 for finishing second.
