Vodafone Fiji Under-20 Fiji Kele Leawere says they are ready to take on New Zealand in the Oceania Rugby Championship tonight in Australia.

Leawere says they are aware of the tenacity of the Baby Blacks given their five straight Oceania Championship wins.

He adds the players are gelling in well together and have been doing some vigorous training in Australia.

“We have been preparing the boys and getting them familiar to playing under the lights as our game will be played at night. The boys have tested out some combination and game plan and I think they are doing alright at this stage. We’re not so worried about the scoreboard but we are consistently working on the small areas we need improvement on.”

The Fijian under 20 side is hoping to make a winning start to the Oceania Championship when they take on the defending champion at 7pm tonight.
