Fiji football rep Christopher Wasasala and Lautoka defender Iliesa Lino are currently training with the Labasa football side, preparing for the Vodafone Premier League.
Labasa has applied their releases to Fiji Football Association and now awaits for the final decision.
Coach Bal Sanju Reddy says the duo have been gelling in well in the training.
“They have been training with the team, Christopher {Wasasala} is a player who was playing for Labasa in the past so if they come and join us I think it will be a boost to the Labasa team and we will be happy to have them in our team.”
The player transfer window closes tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in VPL matches, Labasa plays Dreketi, 1.30pm at Subrail Park and on Sunday Rewa host Nadi, 3pm at Ratu Cakobou Park in Nausori.
