Warriors show class act

The Fiji Warriors showed true class by chalking up 37 points in the second half to beat Samoa A in their Pacific Rugby match in Tonga on Monday afternoon.

Warriors coach, Lance Whippy says their come from behind win proved the players have development mentally towards the game which is a positive sign ahead of the Northern Tour to Europe.

“Samoa gave us a very good game, we were down 22-5 at halftime and we really did well in the second half by doing things right. We executed our plays well and the whole second spell worked in our favour.”

Ratu Inoke Tuisese scored a hat-trick while team-mate, Nemani Nagusa added the fourth.

The Warriors final PRC match is against Tonga A on Friday at Teufaiva Stadium.
