The Telecom Fiji Warriors side has come out better, following the season they have had.

This was the view of Warriors’ manager, Dan Domoni, at a function held last night at Holiday Inn, hosted by sponsors, Telecom Fiji Limited for the team as well as the Fijiana side.

The Warriors managed to reach the finals of the World Rugby Pacific Challenge and finished unbeaten in their recent South American tour against Uruguay and the Argentina Pampas.

“We try to improve on our team environment, and that includes our team culture. Because we believe just like any business organization, if we have that competitive advantage, then we will be able to win games, just as we did together with our Fijiana sisters.”

Domoni adds the inclusion of 10 Warriors players into the Vodafone Flying Fijians extended squad for next month’s Pacific Nations Cup speaks volumes of the talent of local players.

Meanwhile, the Telecom Fijiana was also honoured for finishing in 8th place in the Women’s World Sevens Series, sealing their spot in next season campaign.

The Iliesa Tanivula-coached side will compete in the regional qualifier in November for a spot in the Rio Olympic Games.
